Happy New Years! I think 2008 was a really good year in my world, definitely not economy wise or pretty much anything else.

Twilight

OMG I finally watched Twilight....it was really good! The book was so much better, but thats how it always is.

Mrs. H was so totally right. She said that Carlisle was dog-ugly. Well, he wasn't that bad, but I personally think that he looked like a fish, mixed with a doll, mixed with an asian dude with dyed-blond hair, and his head was really totally unproportional to his body....but other than that......

Plus, I think that if Jacob cut his hair, he'd be a better Edward. Well, maybe not Edward, but I think he'd be so hot if his hair was shorter, maybe to his shoulders and he had reddish highlights...

Andandand, they are such kinda bad actors...

Tomorrow, we are having a New Years party. Our friends are coming to play games and watch the balldrop. Has anybody ever played Taboo before? I love that game.

Lunch

Today we went to Little Richards for lunch and to meet Chris, a guy that went abroad with us to China 6 years ago...it was really fun! Catching up on what we've been doing since then was really....interesting. Hes been to Japan and all this stuff...we sat there and talked for 3 hours.

BTW, my dad is in Taiwan until January 10th, and hes been sending us pictures of yummy food. Taiwan's food is REALLY good. I mean, the restaurants here are good, but authentic Chinese food is um, not really found here. No offense to anybody. Like, people say "I love Chinese food!" and I'm like, "really, whats your favorite?" and they say "general tsao's chicken!" or whatever. I don't even know what that is!! Somebody explain to me...and don't say "It's chicken" because I kinda figured that part out already. :)

Fun Day

Today, Rae-Yao's friend came over to celebrate her bday in 2 days. We played Taboo and ate pizza and cake and watched MAMMA MIA!!!! Jordan bought it for RY!! SWEET.

And on the 30th, guess what? Everybody is going to the movies to FINALLY watch TWILIGHT!!!

OK, so we ended up watching 3 things tonight....we were in the middle of watching Shrek, when my mom came downstairs and told us that the Beijing Opening Ceremony was on channel 11. Of course, my sis REALLY wanted to watch that, so we watched it....and THEN my mom says that Miracle is on channel 7, so we watch that.....

oops, Shrek is still in the DVD player........

Guess what we're watching tonight? Shrek!! I can pretty much quote that movie. "You definitely need a tic tac or something 'cuz your breath STINKS!" HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

and I have to paint this cool wooden thing I put together for the Chinese New Year Festival this year, so...it looks SO cool, I'm going to post pics of it later, hopefully if my darn computer can handle it...

CHRISTMAS!!!

Wow, today was really relaxing, especially after a really busy week last week. I had at least 3 hours of music every day....anyway

I got a panda puzzle, a pair of panda pajama pants, a clarinet ornament, a clarinet bookmark, two pairs of REALLY COOL SOCKS (you should be proud of me, Mrs. H, lol) and a pair of binoculars from White Elephant yesterday...funfunfun!

skiing

OMG, chair lifts are soooo nerve racking.... getting off raises your blood pressure.......once I was getting off, and my skis were crossed so I tripped and fell and my sister was getting off behind me, and her skis had ice on the bottom so she couldn't move. She did some really weird 360 in midair to try to keep her balance...It was funny. The guy had to stop the chair lift for a long time while she got out of the way....but anyways...

We went skiing at Cataloochee. I love that name, it's great. Priti's little brother did really good. Her dad got sick off chicken nuggets....

Has anybody ever seen the Life is Crap t-shirts? They are hilarious! I have two...google it.

I have to go practice clarinet now.....pictures of skiing will be posted in awhile.....I look like a bozo brain in them....

Christmas breakkkk!!!!!!! Sweet.

I'm going to Asheville to see my friend Priti and we're going skiing!!! Hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow, because I freak out when we drive in the mountains when it snows....so.....

Oh, man, taekwondo today was awesome. Master Shin decided that since today was the last 2nd degree class of the year, it was going to be special. So we did target drills all class and taught him English words like president and rather and exhibition....he's Korean. I remember he once asked Rae-Yao if she was "underground" because she was grounded for a long time....haha, good times....
