flashdrives

I think I started a fad in school....we were typing our MLA papers in Language Arts and I started bringing my flashdrive to school. Its a cool flippy thing on a chain and I wore it around my neck. The next day, 5 or 6 people have a flashdrive on a string around their neck....Hmmm....I wonder if I can get everybody to wear like, shoes on their hands.....

Got invited to a Wind Symphony because of being All County Band 1st chair. But I can't go! because I have Youth Symphony that day and the rehearsal times conflict!!! And it has a "Special Note " that says if you're in Youth Symphony, decline because you made a commitment already.......shoot.

NAL Match

Today we had our first National Academic League match!! We beat Jefferson 52-35. They did pretty good. OMG I got the toss-up question!!! I was so happy. It was something about "What organ is hidden inside the vertabrae?" Its spinal cord....

Oh in science we are doing a disease project. We get assigned a disease to research and we have to design a poster about it. I got Parkinson's Disease!! I know a lot of people who have it. My friend got AIDs, LOL. She saw a really gross picture of it and freaked out.

Fell asleep at 12:30 last night....ugh. I am so tired....laid in bed for 3 FREAKING HOURS!!

Today's Events

Oh wow, what a day.....we only did 2 things!! Well, they were fun, but still...

At 9:40, we went to Taekwondo for 2nd degree class and stayed until 1:00 because RY works. Since its after break and we need to lose weight from eating so much food, our Master made us run and kick and practically killed us. I was pooped after the first class, but then I took the second and the third....my muscles are cramping up right now.

And theeeen we went to Salemtowne Retirement Home to play music in the Health Care units for about 2 and a half hours.

So I didn't do too much today...

And on a different note, Obama is almost prez! I remember in Social Studies in October making election posters. Somebody made one that said

"OBAMA-isn't he an"
and a pic of an arrow pointing to a donkey butt.....get it? But Mr. Mack wouldn't let us hang it in the hall with all the others....LOL

I forgot

Today, my sis and I also went to go watch Marley and Me with my neighbor. It is such a sad movie! I cried, seriously. The only movies I have ever cried in is Prince Caspian and this one, and the only book is Good Night Mr. Tom.

First post of the year!!

Its the first day of the new year!! Last night I watched the Jonas Brothers sing at Times Square. Apparently it was 19 degrees, 2 degrees with wind chill factor....it was kinda funny, because the bros were so cold, their voices cracked on the high notes....

Went to a party today. Made a lemon cake that needed instant pudding mix, didn't have any, but we DID have the cook-and-serve pudding mix, so I used that. The cake come out all chunky and wet and really weird.....but it tasted really good!!
And we played Wii there, Mario Party 8. I beat everybody, lol. And the Wii fitness said my Wii age was 38!!
